George III 1775 Farthing
George III (1760-1820), copper Farthing, 1775, first obverse, laureate and cuirassed bust right, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, GEORGIVS. III. REX. rev. Britannia seated left on globe with spear and olive branch, date in exergue (Peck 916; S.3775). Toned, good extremely fine, some light die flaws in lettering.
The Latin legends translate as on obverse "George III King" and on the reverse "of the Britons."
