George III (1760-1820), Proof gold Guinea, 1774, engraved by Thomas Pingo, young laureate head right, hair curling down back on neck and under truncation, legend GEORGIVS. III DEI. GRATIA. rev. struck en medaille, crowned garnished quartered shield, seven strings to Irish harp, crown dividing date, legend M.B.F.ET.H. REX. F.D.B. ET.L.D.S.R.I.A.T ET.E. edge plain (WR 95; S.3728).
