George III (1760-1820), copper Farthing, 1773, first obverse, laureate and cuirassed bust right, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, GEORGIVS. III. REX. rev. Britannia seated left on globe with spear and olive branch, date in exergue (Peck 911; S.3775). Struck on a broad flan seemingly without a retaining collar, toned extremely fine and unusual.

The Latin legends translate as on obverse "George III King" and on the reverse "of Britain"
