George III (1760-1820), copper Halfpenny, 1772, first obverse, laureate and cuirassed bust right, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding both sides, GEORGIVS. III. REX. rev. second type, Britannia seated left on globe with spear and olive branch, without ball below spear blade, date in exergue, BRITAN NIA. weight 11.00g (Peck 902; S.3774). Toned extremely fine.

The Latin legends translate as on obverse "George III King" and on the reverse "of the Britons."
