George III 1772 Halfpenny

George III (1760-1820), copper Halfpenny, 1772, second reverse, laureate and cuirassed bust right, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, GEORGIVS. III. REX. rev. Britannia seated left on globe with spear and olive branch, date in exergue (Peck 902; S.3774). A few tiny Verdigris spots on reverse, some lustre, attractively toned, good extremely fine.

The Latin legend translates as on obverse "George III, King" and on reverse " of the Britons,"
