George II (1727-60), silver Twopence or Half-Groat, 1743, 3 struck over 0, young laureate and draped bust left, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding both sides, GEORGIVS. II. DEI. GRATIA., rev. crowned mark of value, date either side of crown, legend commences upper right, .MAG. BRI. FR ET. HIB. REX. (Bull 1812; ESC 2233A; S.3714A). Toned, some light raised die flaws on reverse, almost extremely fine.
The Latin legends translates on obverse as "George the Second, by the Grace of God," and on reverse as "King of Great Britain, France and Ireland."
