Galba, (A.D. 68-9), Silver Denarius, minted in Rome and struck mid A.D. 68- early A.D. 69, IMP SER GALBA CAESAR AVG, laureate and draped bust ofGalba facing right, rev. DIVA-AVGVSTA, Livia, draped, standing left holding a patera and a vertical sceptre, 3.46g, 5h (BMC 6, RIC 189). Sharply struck with a wonderful portrait and a light, colourful iridescent tone, minor areas of light porosity else extremely fine.
