DEF, rev. design by John Bergdahl and inspired by Hans Holbein's painting of King Henry VIII, set within a tressure of five arcs, H to the left, R to the right, outer legend surrounding THE ACCESSION OF HENRY VIII 1509, and denomination FIVE POUNDS, edge, inscribed, ROSA SINE SPINA ("A Rose Without a Thorn"), 39.94g (S L20). As struck, graded by NGC as PF70 ULTRA CAMEO, accompanied by its original Royal Mint box and certificate of authenticity.
