Brand new condition as issued, uncirculated, with excellent card folders and insert slips, as good as could be expected for a 40+ year old set and extremely rare.

Mintage 637,100 of 1983 set of which a very small proportion had this Two Pence mule only found in either Martini or Heinz branded uncirculated sets.

The 1983 Two Pence with this "New Pence" error is the only valuable Two Pence of the decimal era and highly sought after by collectors. All prior 1971-1982 Two Pence have new pence legends and all 1983 onward Two Pence have two pence legends unless they are this mule error that we have demonstrated herewith.
