EIC, Bengal Presidency, Gold Mohur, Murshidabad, AH 1184, year 11

India, British India, East India Company, Bengal Presidency, gold Mohur, Murshidabad, AH 1184, year 11, 12.39g (Pr 20; KM 94). About extremely fine.

Almost all of these Bengal Mohurs were retrieved from a shipwreck. It means the coins have a tendency to display a matte surface. Nevertheless, the present coin is exceptionally well-preserved.
