Edward VII (1901-10), gold Sovereign, 1907 S, Sydney Mint, bare head right, DES below truncation for engraver George William De Saulles, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, EDWARDVS VII D: G: BRITT: OMN: REX F: D: IND: IMP:, rev. St George and dragon right, S mint mark on ground-line, date in exergue, small WWP below lance for William Wellesley Pole, previous Master of the Mint when design adopted, B.P. in upper right of exergue for engraver Benedetto Pistrucci, edge milled (Bentley 723; Marsh 209; S.3973). Toned with some light marks, has been graded and slabbed by NGC as MS62.

Calendar Mintage 2,539,000.

The abbreviated Latin legends translate as "Edward by the Grace of God, King of all the Britons, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India."
