Edward VII (1901-10), gold Sovereign, 1907 P, Perth Mint, bare head right, De S. below truncation for engraver George W De Saulles, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, EDWARDVS VII D: G: BRITT: OMN: REX F: D: IND: IMP:, rev. St George slaying the dragon with sword, broken lance to lower left, P at centre of ground line for Perth, tiny B.P. in exergue for engraver Benedetto Pistrucci, edge milled (Bentley 853; McD 227; Hill 200; S 3972). Toned with some light nicks, extremely fine.

Calendar Year Mintage 4,972,289.

The Latin legend on the obverse translates as "Edward the Seventh, by the grace of God, King of all the Britons, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India."
