Edward VII (1901-10),gold Sovereign, 1907 M, Melbourne Mint, bare head right, DES below truncation for engraver George William De Saulles, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, EDWARDVS VII D: G: BRITT: OMN: REX F: D: IND: IMP:rev.St George and dragon right, date in exergue, small WWP below lance for William Wellesley Pole, previous Master of the Mint when design adopted, M mint mark at centre of ground-line, B.P. in upper right of exergue for engraver Benedetto Pistrucci, edge milled (Bentley 819; McDonald 226; Marsh 191; S.3971).Toned with some light marks, has been graded and slabbed by NGC as MS62.
