Edward VII (1901-1910), gold Two Pounds, 1902, Coronation year, bare head right, De S. below truncation for engraver George W De Saulles, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, EDWARDVS VII DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX FID: DEF: IND: IMP:, rev. St. George and dragon right, broken lance to lower left on ground line, B.P. in exergue for engraver Benedetto Pistrucci, edge milled, 15.99g (Schneider 662; Hill T40; S 3967). An appealing example with light surface marks on reverse, graded by PCGS as MS62.

Calendar year mintage 46,000.

The Latin legends translates on obverse as "Edward the Seventh by the Grace of God, King of all the Britains, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India."
