Edward VII (1901-10), gold Sovereign, 1902 P, Perth Mint, bare head right, De S. below truncation for engraver George W De Saulles, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, EDWARDVS VII D: G: BRITT: OMN: REX F: D: IND: IMP:, rev. St George slaying the dragon with sword, broken lance to lower left, P at centre of ground line for Perth, tiny B.P. in exergue for engraver Benedetto Pistrucci, edge milled, weight 8.00g (Bentley 848; McD 212; Marsh 195; S 3972). Toned with some light marks, extremely fine.

Calendar Year Mintage 4,289,122.

The Latin legend on the obverse translates as "Edward the Seventh, by the grace of God, King of all the Britains, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India."
