Edward VII (1901-10), Matt Proof silver Threepence, 1902, bare head right, DES below truncation for engraver George William De Saulles, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, EDWARDVS VII D: G: BRITT: OMN: REX F: D: IND: IMP: crowned mark of value within oak wreath, date either side of 3, weight 1.41g (Bull 3618; ESC 2115; Davies 1610; S.3984). Toned practically as struck.

The Latin legend translates as "Edward the Seventh, by the grace of God, King of all the Britains, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India."
