Edward VII (1901-1910), gold Five-Pounds, 1902, Coronation year, bare head right, De S. below truncation for engraver George W De Saulles, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, EDWARDVS VII DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX FID: DEF: IND: IMP:, rev St George slaying the dragon with sword, broken lance to lower left, tiny B.P. in exergue for engraver Benedetto Pistrucci, edge milled, 40.03g (Schneider 661; S 3966). Toned, with a number of nicks and surface marks both sides, mainly on obverse, otherwise extremely fine.

Calendar year mintage of 34,910.

The Latin legend on the obverse translates as "Edward the Seventh, by the grace of God, King of all the Britains, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India."
