Edward VI 1549 debased silver Shilling, date in Roman numerals, Southwark Mint

Edward VI (1547-53), debased silver Shilling, Second Issue of 6oz 2dwt standard, 1549 in Roman numerals, Southwark Mint under John Yorke, bust type 3, taller crowned bust right, with notch below rear collar, within linear circle, legend with date surrounding with lozenge stops, initial mark Y both sides, EDWARD; VI; D; G; AGL; FRA; Z; HIB; REX.Y., rev. oval quartered shield of arms on frame, E to left, R to right, linear circles and legend surrounding, TIMOR: DOMINI: FONS: VITA: M:DXLIX, weight 4.45g (N.1917/2; S.2466B). Toned, poor to fair, reverse stronger.

The legends translate as on the obverse "Edward the Sixth by the grace of God, King of England, France and Ireland," and on the reverse "The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life" a Psalm from the Bible.
