Divus Julius Caesar, Silver Denarius. Minted in Rome, struck by Q. Voconius Vitulus, 40 B.C. DIVI IVLI, laureate head of Julius Caesar facing right, a lituus behind, rev. Q VOCONIVS / VITVLVS, a bull standing left, 3.86g, 11h (Cr. 526/2; RBW -; Sydenham 1132). A small unobtrusive edge cut at 11 o'clock but of fine style with an attractive cabinet tone, well-centered, extremely fine.
