Crusaders, Kingdom of Jerusalem, c 1180s, gold Bezant, 2nd phase, in imitation of the Fatimid Dinar of al-Amir Abu 'Ali al-Mansur, double marginal legend with two-line central inscription both sides, with al-imam / al-mansur legible and perhaps an interpretation of the mint name Misr, 3.89g (A. 730; cf Metcalf 135; cf CCS 3 ff). Nearly extremely fine.
