Crete, Kydonia, Silver Diobol

Crete, Kydonia (early 2nd century B.C.), Silver Diobol. Head of nymph facing left, rev. quadripartite square with a diagonal in one quarter, a pellet in each of the remaining three quarters and a fourth pellet outside of the square and linked to it by a line, 1.50g. (Seager pl. IV, Ha-35; SNG Lockett 2549). Some light die-rust on obverse, otherwise well-struck and with a cabinet tone, extremely fine, very rare.
