Italy, Florence, Cosimo II De' Medici (1590-1621), Grand Duke of Tuscany (1609-21), cast bronze medal by Antonio Selvi (1679-1753), from his Medici series, bust right, COSIMVS. II. MAGN. DVX. ETRVRIÆ IIII, rev. two anchors bound by a ribbon, DVABVS, 85mm (Vannel and Toderi 1987, no. 320; Clifford 1996, no. 339, this piece). Extremely fine with rich even patina.

The medal is based on the earlier uniface bronze medal by Guillaume Dupré.
