MERITVS, in exergue CORON. XXII. SEPT MDCCLXI, 34mm, 15.53g (BHM 66 RR; Eimer 696). Attractively toned, nearly extremely fine.

This is the official Coronation Medal and yet only 400 specimens were struck in silver, and from more than one set of dies. Many of these were perhaps melted down as this medal is rarely available.
