Coronation of Charlotte, 1761.

Queen Charlotte, Coronation, 1761, Bronze Medal by L Natter, draped bust right, CHARLOTTA D.G. M. BR. FR. ET. HIB. REGINA., rev the Queen crowned by Fame, QVAESITVM. MERITVS, in exergue CORON. XXII. SEPT MDCCLXI, 34mm (BHM 65; Eimer 696). Very fine, the reverse a little weakly struck, rare.

This is one of the two rare varieties where the legend on the reverse is not written on a ribbon. The other variety without the ribbon has an alternative portrait. Both are very rare.
