China, Fengtien Province, Guangxu (1875-1908), silver Yuan or Dollar, Year 40 (1903), Manchu characters reversed centre surrounded by four Chinese characters within inner beaded border dividing date卯癸, inscription造省天奉above,分二錢七平庫below,rev.ornate dragon with pearl centre, FUNG-TIEN PROVINCE above round, denomination 7 MACE AND 2 CANDAREENS below round, edge milled (KM Y.92; Kann 251b; L&M 483).Graded by NGC as AU DETAILS CLEANED.

Calendar year mintage 262,000.

The Manchu characters and Chinese characters translate as "Year 40," and "Guangxu / Yuanbao." The Chinese legend translates as "Made in Fengtien Province, worth 7 Mace and 2 Candareens."
