The 1969 Prince of Wales Investiture silver sets were primarily struck as commemorative medallions to mark King Charles III's investiture at Caernarfon Castle. This is the most notable officially issued set by John Pinches of 4-medal Britannia silver (.958) which contains medals in sizes corresponding to standard Crown, Halfcrown, Florin, and Shilling denominations.
