Welsh dragon, ARWISGIAD CAERNARVON GORFFENNAF 1969; Florin-size,rev.crowned shield, INVESTITURE CAERNARVON JULY 1969; Shilling-size,rev. Prince of Wales feathers, ARWISGIAD CAERNARVON GORFFENNAF 1969, weights 29.14g, 16.76g, 13.48g and 7.2g respectively. Once cleaned and now starting to tone. The set brilliant and virtually as struck, with original case of issue. Only 2000 sets issued.

The 1969 Prince of Wales Investiture silver sets were primarily struck as commemorative medallions to mark King Charles III's investiture at Caernarfon Castle. This is the most notable officially issued set by John Pinches of 4-medal Britannia silver (.958) which contains medals in sizes corresponding to standard Crown, Halfcrown, Florin, and Shilling denominations.
