Charles II & Catherine, 1667.

Charles II (1660-85), and Catherine, silver medal by P. Roettier, c.1667, his bust right, draped, CAROLVS . II . REX, rev. her bust right, draped, CATHERINA REGINA, 28mm (MI i 540/192, rare; Eimer 243). Nearly extremely fine, and quite rare, in and NGC holder graded AU53.

MI notes the obverse die is in the British Museum, and that the medal is rare. It has been suggested that the medal was struck in support of the king, after the declaration of peace with Holland.
