Charles I 1646 Newark Siege Sixpence

Charles I (1625-49), silver obsidional Newark Sixpence, 1646, Royal crown, C to left, R to right, denomination below in Roman numerals, beaded border both sides, rev. three line inscription and date, OBS: / NEWARK / 1646, weight 2.84g (Brooker 1228; N.2642; S.3146). Toned, struck a little off-centre, hairline scratches and striking flaws both sides, otherwise very fine for issue and the rarest and shortest-lived Newark denomination, rare.
