Celtic Gaul, Aulerci Eburovices (2nd - 1st century B.C.), Gold Hemistater. Celticized head of Apollo facing left, dotted bands with central zig-zag line on cheek, rev. Celticized biga galloping right, charioteer above, a pellet before horse, a wolf running to right below, 3.42g., 10h (DT 2389). Light mark on obverse, well-struck on a broad flan and of exceptional style, extremely fine, and a very attractive example.
