Carausius (AD 286-293), Æ Antoninianus, no mint, IMP CARAVSIVS P AV, radiate bust right, rev. PAX AVG, Pax standing left, holding branch and vertical sceptre, 3.01g (RIC V ii, 882). Very fine / good fine, scarce.

Without mint, though the obverse legend is known for Londinium and Camulodunum.

Carausius - renegade Roman military commander who successfully usurped power and declared himself emperor in Britain.
