Elizabeth II (1952 -), five gold proof Twenty Five Pounds coins, each bearing a different portrait, 2006, coins weighing ¼ oz each of fine gold alloyed with copper and silver, crowned head right, IRB initials below bust for designer Ian Rank-Broadley, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, ELIZABETH II. D. G. REG. FID. DEF. 25 POUNDS., rev. five different designs of Britannia, images from Britannias from 1987, 1997, 2001, 2003 and 2005, with the inscription 'QUARTER OUNCE FINE GOLD BRITANNIA 2006' (S. PBG28). As struck, lustrous with deep cameo effect, in original Royal Mint black leatherette case within black cardboard box and certificate of authenticity No. 190.

The Latin legend translates as "Queen Elizabeth the second, by the grace of God, Defender of the Faith."
