Elizabeth II (1952 -), gold proof One Hundred Pounds, Fifty Pounds, Twenty Five Pounds, Ten Pounds, 1987, coins weighing 1oz, ½ oz., ¼ oz, and 1/10 oz respectively of fine gold alloyed with copper, crowned head right, RM initials on base of bust for designer Raphael Maklouf, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, ELIZABETH II. DEI. GRATIA. REGINA F. D. 100 POUNDS., rev. the figure of Britannia standing upon a rock in the sea holding a trident in her right hand, her left hand resting on a shield and holding an olive branch, with the inscription 'ONE OUNCE FINE GOLD BRITANNIA 1987' by designer Philip Nathan (S. PBG01). As struck, lustrous with deep cameo effect, in original Royal Mint black leather case and certificate of authenticity No. 5119.
