Bikanir, Pattern Mohur, 1937.

India, Princely States, Bikanir, Ganga Singh (VS 1944-1999; 1887-1942 AD), Pattern Gold Nazarana Mohur, 1937, for the 50th Anniversary of his reign (SAC X M3). In NGC holder graded MS62.

The coin comes in two varieties. Though this type is illustrated as the main type in Friedberg, and is not illustrated in SAC, both issues are well known. Both obverse and reverse types are significantly different in style and it is presumed that the present coin was the prototype, thus the pattern.
