Victoria (1837-1901), gold Sovereign, 1867, Sydney Mint, second young filleted head left, date below, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA D: G: BRITANNIAR: REG: F: D:, rev. AUSTRALIA centred within crowned floral wreath, SYDNEY MINT above round, denomination ONE SOVEREIGN below round, edge milled, weight 7.99g (Bentley 650; McD 114; Marsh A372; KM.4; Fr.10). Toned though perhaps once cleaned, scuffed both sides with many hairlines, good fine.

Calendar year mintage 2,370,000

The Latin legend on the obverse translates as "Victoria by the Grace of God, Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith".
