Augustus (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), Silver Denarius. Mint of Lugdunum, struck 8 B.C. AVGVSTVS - DIVI F, laureate head of Augustus facing right, within a dotted border, rev. Augustus, togate, setaed left extending right hand to an infant, held out by a cloaked figure, IMP XIIII in exergue, 3.78g., 6h (C. 175; BMC 494; RIC 201a). Lightly toned, almost extremely fine.
