Post-Union crowned cruciform shields, sceptres in angles, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, abbreviated Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, .MAG BRI. FR ET. HIB REG., edge obliquely milled, weight 8.29g (Schneider -; Bull EGC 475; Farey 0540 2nd bust variety; MCE 223; S.3574).Toned with residual lustre, elements of the portrait showing better detail with wear on the high points, short scratch below bust, almost very fine, with some light reverse flecking.

The Latin legends translate to on obverse "Anne by the Grace of God," and abbreviated on the reverse as "Queen of Great Britain, France and Ireland."

The 1711 calendar year had an output of £414,918 worth of gold struck into coin.
