Anne 1710 Guinea AU58

Anne (1702-14), gold Guinea, 1710, third draped bust left, legend ANNA DEI GRATIA, toothed outer border both sides, rev. crowned cruciform post-union emblematic shields, sceptres in angles, garter star at centre, date either side of crown over English shield, MAG BRI.FR ET.HIB REG. edge grained, (MCE 223; S.3574). Light red copper tone, practically extremely fine, has been graded and slabbed by PCGS as AU58.

PCGS certification 618126.58/84047374.

On the PCGS population report as of March 2018, there is only one 1710 dated Guinea higher, and this coin is on par with two others at AU58, out of a total of six graded.

The Latin legends translate as on the obverse "Anne by the Grace of God," and abbreviated on the reverse as "Queen of Great Britain, France and Ireland."
