Anne 1709 Guinea AU58

Anne (1702-14), gold Guinea, 1709, Post-Union, second draped bust left, legend surrounding, ANNA.DEI. GRATIA. toothed border around rim both sides, rev. Post-Union crowned cruciform shields, sceptres in angles, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, MAG. BRI. FR. ET. HIB REG. (MCE 220; S.3572). Raised die flaw in hair otherwise with an attractive red tone, extremely fine, has been slabbed and graded by PCGS as AU58.

PCGS certification 3413309.

The Latin legends translate as on the obverse "Anne by the Grace of God," and abbreviated on the reverse as "Queen of Great Britain, France and Ireland."
