Anne 1708 silver Threepence, 3rd bust

Anne (1702-14), silver Threepence, 1708, third draped bust left, legend reads ANNA. DEI. GRATIA., rev, crowned mark of value, BRI type legend surrounds MAG. BRI. FR. ET. HIB. REG., weight 1.50g (Bull.1500; ESC.2011; Robinson p.155: 152; S.3596B). Old tone, some flecking and hairlines, otherwise good very fine.

The Latin legends translate as "Anne by the grace of God" on obverse, and on the reverse "Queen of Great Britain, France and Ireland."
