Anne (1702-14), silver Post-Union Shilling, 1707, third draped bust left, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, ANNA. DEI. GRATIA., rev. crowned cruciform Post-Union shields, eight strings to Irish harp, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, J type 1 and wide O type zero, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, .MAG BRI. FR ET. HIB REG., no stop after first G R or B, weight 6.03g (Bull 1395; ESC 1141; S.3610). Toned, some flecks and surface marks, short scratch on reverse field by French arms, otherwise a bold very fine.
The Latin legends translate as "Anne by the grace of God" on obverse, and on the reverse "Queen of Great Britain, France and Ireland."
