Anne 1707 Shilling, third bust, plumes reverse, indicating Welsh silver, ex A Collection of Queen Anne

Anne (1702-14), silver Post-Union Shilling, 1707, third draped bust left, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, ANNA. DEI. GRATIA., rev. inverted die axis, crowned cruciform Post-Union shields, six strings to Irish harp, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, J type 1 and wide O type zero, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, .MAG BRI. FR ET. HIB REG., no stop after first G R or B, weight 5.96g (Bull 1396; ESC 1142; S.3611). Toned, with a few nicks and surface marks, good fine / almost very fine.

The Latin legends translate as "Anne by the grace of God" on obverse, and on the reverse "Queen of Great Britain, France and Ireland."
The plumes reverse indicates that the silver used to produce this coin was derived from mining activities in Wales.
