Anne (1702-14), silver Post-Union Shilling, 1707, no stops on reverse, Edinburgh Mint, struck from local dies, E below second draped bust left, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, ANNA. DEI. GRATIA., rev. inverted die axis, crowned cruciform Post-Union narrow shields, six strings to Irish harp, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, J type 1 and narrow O type zero, no stops in Latin legend with toothed border surrounding, MAG BRI FR ET HIB REG, weight 5.88g (Bull 1417 R4; ESC 1138A R4; S.3608). Toned, Fine and extremely rare.
The Latin legends translate as "Anne by the grace of God" on obverse, and on the reverse "Queen of Great Britain, France and Ireland."
