Anne (1702-14), silver Post-Union Halfcrown, 1707, Edinburgh Mint, E below first draped bust left, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, ANNA.DEI. GRATIA., rev. Post-Union crowned cruciform shields, seven strings to Irish harp, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, .MAG BRI. FR ET. HIB REG., edge inscribed in raised letters of upright orientation to obverse, .+ DECVS. ET. TVTAMEN. ANNO. REGNI. SEXTO, weight 15.05g (Bull 1379; ESC 575; C&R 586 R; S.3605; S.5709). Toned, with adjustment marks both sides, mainly on obverse bust, black streak of tone across bust, otherwise good very fine for what usually is a poorly struck issue.
