QVINTO., weight 14.98g (Bull 1361; ESC 572; S.3582).Attractively toned, with underlying brilliance, a few nicks on neck, some flecks on reverse, good very fine / almost extremely fine.
The Latin legends translate as "Anne by the grace of God" on obverse, and on the reverse "Queen of Great Britian, France and Ireland."
We note the silver output for the calendar year of 1706 was £2,889 which would have consisted of Crowns, Halfcrowns and small silver only.
