India, Mughal Empire, Akbar (AH 963-1014 / 1556-1605 AD), gold Mohur, mint off flan, thought to be Agra, AH 974, the khalima shahada, the names of the four caliphs around, rev. al sultan al azam khuld allahu / jalal ad-din mohammed akbar badsha ghazi / ta'ala mulkahu wa sultanahu, top to bottom, 10.88g (KM 105.1, mint not listed). A full, bold coin displaying much more visible legend than most examples, about extremely fine.
