Akarnania, Leukas (c. 435 B.C.), Silver Stater. Pegasos flying left, ΛEY below, rev. head of Athena facing left, wearing a Corinthian helmet, a bow behind; all within an incuse square, 8.47g., 3h (Calciati, Pegasi, 35). A scarce issue with the fuller ΛEY on obverse, a little soft striking on body of Pegasos, otherwise with a beautiful old cabinet tone, good style, very fine to good very fine.
