A. Plautius (55 B.C.), Silver Denarius. Mint of Rome. A PLAVTIVS AED CVR S C, turreted head of Cybele facing right, rev. camel standing right, before which a male figure (Aristobulus?) kneels, holding out and olive-branch, BACCHIVS in exergue, IVDAEVS on right, 3.98g., 3h (Crawford 431/1; Sydenham 932; RBW 1540). Toned, good very fine.
