19th Century Token, struck in silver, Wales, Glamorganshire, Neath, Shilling, 1811, three lines in centre, 12 / PENCE / 1811, inner linear circle, legend and outer toothed border surrounding both sides, NEATH SILVER TOKEN, rev. a brick tower with factory buildings and two flags either side, * PAYABLE AT H. REES'S & D. MORGAN'S, edge, grained, weight 3.89g (Davis 9; Withers 10-12). Attractively toned, good very fine.
