17thCentury Token, Kent,Sandwich, Henry Furnice, Halfpenny, undated, three line inscription, HIS / HALF / PENNY within beaded circle, legend and toothed border surrounding, *HENRY. FVRNICE. IN, rev. Arms of Sanwich, legend and toothed border surrounding, * SAND WICH, weight 1.61g (Norweb 2729; Boyne 412; B.W.498). Toned with a little Verdigris, very fine.
