The Majority of George, Prince of Wales, later George III, silver medal by Thomas Pingo, 1759, armoured bust left, GEORGIVS. WALLIÆ. PRINCEPS, rev. female figure of Tellus, seated between lions, plays a cymbal while others dance around an oak tree, TELLVS JACTABIT ALVMNO, in exergue, ADULTÆ ÆTATIS DIES FAVSTISSIMVS IV. JVN. MDCCLIX, 55mm, 66.20g (MI ii 698/428; Eimer 666). Nearly extremely fine with good, even, grey tone, rare.

Pingo's design was to be reused almost immediately for George's accession the following year. A ribbon and additional legend were added to the obverse.
